I am from a beautiful small town on the coast of Maine. There I learned how to stack a perfect wood pile, jump into a lake feet first, and how to rake blueberries and then fold them into a pie.
I earned my BFA in Arts Administration, Communications and Photography from Simmons College in Boston and then trained in graphic design and web management for two years with the very talented Jessica Sutton of JSGD and Jennifer Hill of JHill Design. With their guidance, I learned the power of kerning and that great design can transform a business.
In 2012 I moved to London for six months. While there, I learned the proper pronunciation of tomato, that the night bus is the most exciting way to travel and that nothing beats acuppa Earl Grey.
I currently live in Boston and when I am not cheering on the Red Sox or enjoying a Sportello cupcake, I work as a freelance graphic designer specializing in small business brand development.
I am always interested in new projects, so please get in touch : hello@lizziehunter.com.
